A few of my events were then cancelled due to Foot and Mouth but luckily our 12 mile Sponsored Ride at Glynde near the South Downs was not!
Will and I were joined by Joy Irvine on my old pony Balklands Cherrygold. We had a lovely time, it was only Cherrygold’s 2nd pleasure ride so we took it easy and jumped some of the XC jumps to give her some experience as she is only 5. William and Noelle were far more adventurous and went off ahead and jumped some of the bigger ones.
This lovely picture was taken at the very beginning where there was a jump but it was a good 2ft 6 which was too big only 2 minutes into the ride, we had not even ventured into trot, so we just had a group photo instead which turned out to be just as good if not better!
